While Kenya mourned Embu yesterday, I watched something colder about Kindiki. And it's scary.

Let me explain. Kindiki arrived at the event.

The mood tightened.

Police: “Deal ........ Waende wasiende.”
He did not seem to mind that those outside the venue were his own people.
Then people were killed. Others injured. Then he spoke as if nothing human had happened. Instead, he blamed Mukunji, as if Mukunji controls the police.

But here is where things get interesting and cold. Do you remember who was the CS interior in 2024?
It is the same Kindiki who was CS Interior in June 2024. He then set the tone before the shootings warning protesters days before. Then they happened.
Later, he said he had “no reason to take responsibility for anything,” because Interior supposedly has “no role in police operations.”
The pattern in my opinion is clear:
Authority first.
______ second.
Distance third.
In the bible;

Pilate allowed the sentence, then washed his hands.
Pharaoh hardened his heart, then called the suffering order.
A cold man does not need to scream in my opinion.
He only needs to appear, permit the force, and remain unmoved. In Embu, the charge already in the air is that he gave police the green light. Proven or not, the pattern is the same: presence, alleged permission, death, then polished language.
A man that cold should not sit that close to the gun.
Not in Interior.
Not as Deputy President.
Not in any office where power over security can turn a crowd into a body count.
I rest my case.
