The Consumers Federation of Kenya (COFEK) has filed a petition before the PPP Petition Committee, raising questions about how the proposed Sh2.2 trillion Dangote refinery in Lamu is being structured and approved.
The committee is established under Section 75 of the Public Private Partnerships Act, 2021, to handle petitions concerning decisions made by the PPP Committee, the PPP Directorate or a contracting authority.
