**Kenyan Purple Tea Makes Paris Debut in Push for Premium Global Markets**
Kenya’s purple tea from Murang’a County has made its debut in Paris, France, following a partnership between Equity Group, Gatanga Industries and French tea retailer Palais des Thés.
The deal seeks to expand access to premium international markets and increase the value of Kenyan tea by moving beyond bulk exports towards higher-value, branded products. The initiative could create new opportunities for Kenyan tea producers while showcasing the country’s unique purple tea variety to international consumers.
