Joseph Ole Lenku: Tata Chemicals Magadi had its first contract given in November 1924, a 99-year lease. The contract was supposed to have expired in 2023. Magadi renewed its contract in 2004 before it elapsed, something we had said was irregular. From my first day in office, I have been very clear that Tata Chemicals Magadi represents a historical land injustice for the people of Magadi
