At least two police officers, including the Hagadera Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD), were killed on Friday, October 9, 2026, after their Land Cruiser struck an improvised explosive device (IED) along the Saretho–Dadaab Main Supply Route in Garissa County.
Police said the blast occurred at around 6am
