Similar reports from Zimbabwe have documented the story of Jack Chako, who lived with Liford Chimoto and Michael Hwita as her two husbands. She described one as the senior husband and the other as the junior husband, saying both men had different roles in the family.
The two men also accepted the arrangement and said they had no problem sharing the same woman.
A marriage where one woman has more than one husband is known as polyandry, and it remains very uncommon in Zimbabwe.
